Designed not to warp, rot or split, the Capped Composite Cladding is more stain resistant, scratch resistant and mould resistant than uncapped composite materials and the polymer coating is also UV resistant to minimise colour fade over time. How do you install composite cladding?
Installing composite cladding has never been easier. Prepare the Surface by ensuring that the installation area is flat, clean and dry. Gather the equipment you need, such as the necessary tools, drills, saws and cladding fixings. Simply attach the cladding boards, ensuring to leave sufficient gaps for expansion due to temperature changes. Finally attach the boards using the tongue and groove design so they’re secure. You’ll need our composite cladding fixings to do this.
How large should the gap be between composite cladding boards when installing?
We suggest that you leave a 3mm to 5mm gap between your composite cladding boards to allow the materials to expand and contract.
Does pearl composite cladding fade over time?
Your pearl composite cladding will lose around 30% of its colour in the first 6 months before stabilising to its final colour.
