Our Anthracite Composite Decking Boards are finished with a robust, water-resistant Dino Shield™ polymer sleeve, offering the thickest capped decking shell available in the UK for exceptional stain and weather resistance while preserving the natural aesthetics of timber. Crafted from the same eco-friendly recycled wood and plastic composite as our Traditional Composite Decking, these premium boards are ultra-low maintenance and will not warp, split, crack, or splinter.
The capped composite decking also boasts enhanced stain resistance, mould resistance, and minimal colour fade over time, ensuring your decking remains pristine for longer with ultra low maintenance—simply wipe clean as needed. Our reversible, non-slip deck boards are installed with a hidden fastener system and come in a choice of 5 colours, each featuring a grooved side and a natural wood textured side. They are available with a 10-year warranty.

Composition:
Dino Decking composite boards are made from 55% recycled wood, 40% HDPE, and approximately 5% additives. The composition of Dino decking boards can vary slightly for each colour due to the additives used to achieve the colour.
Application:
All colours, including Anthracite, come in 4m lengths but can be easily cut to custom sizes for your project using standard carpentry tools. Unlike traditional wood decking, composite boards are not directly screwed into the joists. They are secured using composite fixings for a clean finish. I opted for the Premium-range decking and corener-trim in anthracite. Delivery to London was prompt and professional. The driver called me the day before-delivery advising when he would arrive. He arrived on-time, and was very-polite & friendly. The decking boards are well-made, attractive, and easy to lay. I also opted for the the 6mm hidden-fixings which were a doddle to install atop a wooden frame. The Premium corner-trim was a little disappointing. It arrived slighly-warped (banana-shaped) and was a pain to fit. I initially planned to fix the corner-trim with contact-adhesive for a clean-look, however despite using super-sticky CT1, the warped ends kept lifting. I then had to screw the ends in-place which (slightly) tarnishes my otherwise clean deck. For this reason I give 4-stars instead of 5. It was so-close to a 5.
One tip for anyone fitting the Premium decking is to leave a large expansion-gap between board lengths. On hot days each 4M board can expand by 5-6mm. Leave at-least a 6mm gap to prevent butting-damage.
Another tip for cutting the boards. I used a £15 Erbauer Multi-Material Circular Saw Blade from Screwfix. Screwfix item number is 6693V. This cuts the boards extremely-cleanly. No-need for an expensive Trex/composite blade. Use in-combination with a rafter-square for perfectly square edge cuts.
