Introducing Dino’s Anthracite Grey Composite Cladding

Enhance your outdoor areas with our decorative anthracite composite cladding, which is quick and easy to install with composite cladding fixings that attach the composite cladding to composite joist or a similar decking frame. Once in place it requires practically zero maintenance. Available in three premium colours: pearl, anthracite and walnut. Our anthracite composite cladding matches our RAL 7016 anthracite composite decking perfectly. Made from an eco-friendly recycled timber and plastic composite, the durable cladding is then encased in a water resistant Dino Shield™ polymer sleeve, which offers the thickest protective shell available in the UK. Designed not to warp, rot or split, our anthracite composite cladding is more stain resistant, scratch resistant and mould resistant than uncapped composite materials and the polymer coating is also UV resistant to minimise colour fade over time. Each cladding board measures 21mm x 145mm x 4000mm (4m) and is finished with a light wood grain pattern, colour matched to complement our composite decking boards.

Does anthracite composite cladding fade over time?

Anthracite cladding made from low quality materials is susceptible to fading over time due to harsh weather conditions and everyday wear and tear. However, Dino’s anthracite cladding is coated in Dino Shield™, a polymer sleeve which offers the best protection from harsh weather conditions and UV light.

There are many types of cladding and a lot of colours to go with them. The best colour all depends on personal preference and what design you’re going for. This cladding was a more robust product than I was expecting and was appeared extremely well made and colour was just right. Fitting was straightforward with the hidden fasteners. Cuts were done with a mitre saw, handsaw and jigsaw with no issues. However, it can be brittle near cut-outs for above windows so you need care if cutting close to the edge and then fitting. I found it OK to cut into shorter lengths, sliding these in place and having a small butt joint which is near invisible. I ordered extra to allow for cuts and errors, but never needed them. 4 metre lengths are ideal and meant no joins accept as mentioned around window and door openings. The clipping system was simple and all pieces went together without any struggle. I had to use metal cladding on 2 sides for building regs but it blended in really well with the composite. Highly recommended.

    This is a really great product, good quality and it looks super.
    It is quite easy to fit, however if you are doing wall cladding and need to fit it top to bottom it is quite fiddly and takes a lot longer than if you are fitting it bottom to top.
