How our Savanna Composite Decking is Made
Our savanna composite decking boards are constructed from a formula that ensures quality and minimises the impact on the environment. Our boards are constructed from 55% recycled wood, 40% HDPE and ~5% additives. The composition of our decking boards can vary slightly for each colour due to the composition of additives used to create the colour.
Our decking is easy to install
All of our decking colours come in 4m lengths, but can easily be cut to custom sizes for your project with standard carpentry tools.
Composite boards are not screwed through like timber. They are secured using composite decking fixing clips to the joists that leave you with a clean and tidy finish.

Please Note:
Our Classic range will lighten and lose up to 30% of its colour in the first 6 months before stabilising to its final colour.
Building materials are made in different batches. Batches can differ in size, shade, texture and colour. We always recommend ordering all of your decking together.
Composite decking boards have a width tolerance of up to 2%.
Our classic range can be stained by foreign substances, including chemicals from hot tubs.
Savanna Composite Decking FAQs
Is light composite decking easy to clean?
Savanna composite decking is slightly lighter in colour but still has dark undertones which will make stains easier to remove. To effectively clean decking, use a high quality composite decking cleaner and carefully scrub the stain away. For advanced composite decking maintenance, sweep your decking during the winter season and brush off any rain to prevent mould.
Does savanna composite decking get hot in summer?
Due to its slightly lighter complexion, this colour of decking doesn’t get as hot in the summer time. However, for very hot days we still recommend taking the necessary precautions and testing your decking before walking on it barefoot.

This item got delivered ahead of schedule. All delivered in perfect condition ready to use. Driver was friendly and helped unload. Product is easy to use and quite robust. Easy to cut. Not shrunk , twisted or warped. Clips are a little fiddly but once a method was obtained, went together well with no visible fixing holes. Also had screws supplied. A special little torx bit was required for my battery drill but fortunately I had one of these. All in all good product with smart look to it.
