How Our Teak Composite Decking is Made
Our teak decking boards are made via a process that ensures visual quality and long-lasting durability. Each teak coloured board is carefully made from a blend of 55% recycled wood, 40% HDPE, and approximately 5% additives, which enhance the decking’s colour and durability.

Our Classic range will lighten and lose up to 30% of its colour in the first 6 months before stabilising to its final colour.
Building materials are made in different batches. Batches can differ in size, shade, texture and colour. We always recommend ordering all of your decking together.
Our composite decking boards have a width tolerance of up to 2%.
Our classic range can be stained by foreign substances, including chemicals from hot tubs.

How do you clean teak decking?
Due to its composite properties, teak decking is extremely easy to clean, but that doesn’t mean you should neglect regular decking maintenance. Sweep your decking, especially after it rains and make sure to brush regularly. Use our high quality composite decking cleaner to remove more stubborn stains and prevent mould.
Will teak decking fade over time?
Like all decking, our light brown decking will lose up to 30% of its colour in the first 6 months before stabilising to a steady colour.

Overall, this is a good product. However, I noticed that some areas of the composite material appear to be thicker than others, which I believe may be due to the manufacturing process.

These decking boards are excellent value and I am happy with the finish and overall look. I was a bit worried about how easily they would scuff as a few had been damaged in transport (speedily replaced by Dino) but they actually are quite robust once fitted. I seemed to get a few lengths which were about 2mm wider than the nominal width which meant aligning over a large area was a bit tricky. Also, I think it highly unlikely that you can achieve a 3mm gap between boards - I managed to get 4 to 4.5mm consistently which looks fine but threw out my calculations on how many lengths I would need.

The only complaint I would have (which I understand depends on the fixture type) it was suggested that I buy way more fasteners than I needed so I have 2 bags (about 200) more than I needed.
