Are these aluminium fence posts resistant to rust?
Yes, our aluminium fence posts are made from corrosion-resistant aluminium, making them ideal for long-term outdoor use without rust or rot. Even during the most extreme weather conditions, our fence posts can resist rust thanks to their aluminium make-up.
How deep should the fence posts be installed?
For a surface mount when attaching to a concrete base or decking, use a base plate/post anchor securely bolted to the concrete surface. For a below ground installation the post should be set into concrete at least 300mm below ground level. This will ensure the fence post remains stable even in the most extreme weather. Can I cut the aluminium post to a shorter height?
Yes, the length of our posts is simply a guide. The aluminium can be cut to size using appropriate tools, allowing flexibility for custom heights or sloped installations.
