Stainless Steel Balustrade – Middle Post

Our stainless steel balustrade posts are brilliant at creating an enclosed outdoor area with a contemporary feel. The tubular post is predrilled with holes on both sides to accommodate the 4 glass clamps and bolts which are included with each stainless steel post. The middle post measures 42.4mm in diameter with H1100mm, and the glass clamps measure L65mm x W44mm x D27mm.

The durable steel balustrade posts come with a round base plate and are made of exterior grade 316 stainless steel with 2% molybdenum for added corrosion resistance. They also boast an ultra-smooth, modern 400 grit brushed satin finish. While 316 stainless steel is renowned for its corrosion resistance, it is not immune to the potentially corrosive effects of exposure to salt, particularly in coastal areas. While it may provide enhanced protection compared to 304 stainless steel, the relentless presence of salt in sea air and its corrosive nature can still impact the material, weakening the stainless steel post. Therefore, we do not recommend installing 316 stainless steel balustrade railings within a 10 mile proximity to the sea.
